Renaissance of Northeast Florida This is a support group for TG people, their families and friends. Our goal is to gain more understanding of Transgender issues and provide a safe inviroment for self expression and socialization. Next monthly meeting will be on November 14th Saturday night at 7:30 at a private home in Fernandina Beach. The Tampa City Council today voted unanimously to expand the city's anti-discrimination ordinance to include transgender people. Yep, including even crossdressers! Although several of the council members tried right up til the end to amend the measure to exclude cd's, in the end it passed with the cd-inclusive language. I was especially tickled by the account of Council Member Mary Mulhern's opinion that having a cross-dressing coworker might add a little interest to the day. TampaBay.com news story on the vote |

FWCT PicnicFlorida West Coast Transgenders Organization is proud to announce our 1st Annual Community Picinic/BBQ sponsorsed by: Alley Bar, Woody's BBQ, A & B Catering and House of Bounce. This event is open to all ages. Bring your friends and family for a day of fun in the park. There will be music, food, games, bounce houses and much more. There is no cost for the event. Park entrance fees are $6 per vehicle.  Hope to see you there!
